As many of you may have already heard Cedar Key was hit hard by Hurricane Hermine on September 2. Here at The Salty Needle we were blessed with only about an inch of water in the shop. We put most everything up off the floor and only had about 16 bolts of fabric get wet.
Our 3rd Annual Quilting Retreat begins Thursday, September 15 at 6:30 with a “low country boil”. We will sew all day Friday and Saturday with teacher Shloe Kerness.
On Sunday, September 18th we are going to close and not reopen until Monday, September 26. We are going to the beach for a much needed vacation!!
Hope to see you at 10:00 on Monday, September 26th.
